A threatened 48-hour strike over new route-licensing fees was called off just after midnight, following a closed-door meeting between SACCO representatives and the county transport department.
Operators say the fee schedule will now be reviewed within 30 days, and that existing licences will remain valid until then.
Commuters had braced for a difficult morning, with some employers advising staff to work from home.
Both sides described the talks as “constructive” but declined to share details of the proposed changes.
